Srabanti Chatterjee is a Bengali film and television actress, who is well known as named Srabanti. She primarily works in cinema of West Bengal, based in Kolkata. She established herself as one of the leading and successful Bengali actress.
Srabanti Chatterjee was born on 13 August 1987 in Kolkata, India. She was very much interested showbiz arena from her early life in that way, Srabanti builds up a career in film industry. She studied at Sarada Vidyapith Girl’s School.
Srabanti Chatterjee was made her debut in Bengali movie Mayar Badhon in 1997. She also appeared in few telefilms for ETV Bangla. She comes to the limelight swiftly when her first major role movie Champion was released in 2003.
However, her film career being interrupted after her marriage with Rajib Biswas. After a hiatus of five years, Srabanti acted in 2008 film Bhalobasha Bhalobasha. This was followed by a number of films in the upcoming years, including several box office hits. She acted in the Rabi Kinagi’s blockbuster movie Deewana with co-actor Jeet in 2013
Srabanti Chatterjee married to a film director, Rajib Biswas in 2003. They have a boy named Abhimanyu Chatterjee (Jhinuk). But the couple’s relationship had deteriorated and Srabanti sent a legal notice to Rajib Biswas for divorce. Srabanti again married Krishan Vraj, a model and photographer on July 2016 after a year of courtship.
