Alia Bhatt is an Indian film actress and singer who mainly works in Bollywood. She was born on 15 March 1993 in Mumbai, India to Bollywood's renowned personalities Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan.Her father is a director, producer and screen-writer while her mother is also a director and a film actress. Director Nanabhai Bhatt is her paternal grandfather. She has an elder sister, Shaheen and two half-siblings, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt.She had finished her high-school from Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt was made her debut as a child artist with Hindi thriller movie Sangharsh in 1999. She played the role of Preeti Oberoi in the movie which starred Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta in the lead roles.
