Jeetendra Madnani is an Indian film actor, producer and television presenter. He is commonly known by his stage name Jeet. He is predominantly works in Bengali movies.
He is one of the magnificent film actors in the Indian showbiz industry, who has got numerous awards for his terrific acting quality. At present, he is one of the superheroes in the West Bengal showbiz industry.
Jeet was born on 30 November 1978 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He studied at Andhra Association School in Kolkata and St. Joseph & Mary’s School. Then he admitted at the National High School. He received graduation degree from Bhawanipur Education Society College under the University of Calcutta.
He enjoyed watching dramas and movies and would also try to emulate his styles and mannerisms of leading stars on himself. However, he joined to showbiz arena in pursue to test his luck in the film industry with a request of his friends.
Jeet started his career as a model and then he moved to TV serials such as Bishabriksha, Janani, and Daughter of the Century etc. He made his film debut in 2001 with Telugu film Chandu, which released to negative reviews and received poor response at the box office. Then he came back in Kolkata, meets with Haranath Chakraborty and got an offer for acting in the Bengali movie Sathi.
The movie brought much popularity and numerous awards for him. In 2005, he acted alongside Koel Mallick in Nater Guru, which released to critical and commercial success and fetched him his second Anandalok Awards for Best Actor. He has acted many commercial successful Bengali Movie such as Sangee, Bandhan, Champion, Yuddo, Shotru, 100% Love, Boss: Born to Rule etc.
Jeet married a school teacher, Mohona Ratlani on 24 February 2001. He became a father of a daughter named Navanya Madnani on 12 December 2012.
